DO YOU BULK BILL?
Podiatrists at the Brighton Foot Clinic can provide Medicare subsidised Podiatric treatments where a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM) has been put in place by the patients General Practitioner. To arrange this, a General Practitioner will engage a Podiatrist as a participant in a management plan. All necessary paperwork and documentation is required prior to an appointment.
Please note, an out of pocket expense will be incurred. Please speak with our friendly reception team for further detail.
A detailed report and foot health assessment will be returned to the patients General Practitioner as part of this team care approach.
WILL MY INSURANCE COVER MY VISIT?
The Brighton Foot Clinic offers on the spot private health insurance claiming via HICAPS facilities. If your insurance covers Podiatry services you will be able to claim on the spot.
IS PODIATRY COVERED BY MEDICARE?
Podiatry services can be accessed via the Medicare Chronic Disease Management Program. This program is initiated by your General Practitioner and can entitle you to up to 5 Medicare funded podiatry consultations per year. To access this service via Medicare please speak with your GP.
DO YOU ACCEPT DVA, WORKCOVER, TAC CLAIMS?
To receive Podiatry Services under third party funding from Veterans Affairs, Work Cover or the Traffic Accident Commission you must have an appropriate referral completed by your General Practitioner or specialist. Please bring all paperwork associated with your referral to your first Podiatry appointment.
