Jens Glynne - Podiatrist
Founder and Owner
Jens is the Owner and Founder of The Brighton Foot Clinic, established to provide a more patient-centric and holistic podiatric service in Bayside. With 16 years of experience in both metropolitan and rural settings, Jens is a leader in Australian podiatry, known for delivering care that prioritizes innovation, excellence, and the individual needs of each patient. His clinic is equipped with the latest evidence-based treatment technologies, including Class 4 Medical Grade K-Laser, Shockwave Therapy, video gait analysis, and the highest quality, most precise custom orthotics available.
Jens’s approach to podiatry is deeply influenced by his strong ties to the Bayside community. As a father of two young children, he has a special interest in children’s podiatry, understanding the importance of early intervention and care in promoting lifelong foot health. He is also actively involved with local schools and clubs, working to enhance foot health awareness and support the well-being of the community.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Jens competed at elite junior levels in both tennis and Australian Rules football. This experience has given him a unique insight into sports-related injuries and the biomechanics of movement, which he applies to his practice. His firsthand understanding of the demands of athletic performance allows him to provide tailored care to athletes and active individuals, helping them achieve optimal foot health and performance.
With extensive experience in senior roles across Victoria, Jens blends modern, evidence-based practices with the timeless principles of traditional podiatry. He prioritizes clear and compassionate communication, ensuring patients fully understand their conditions and treatment plans. Jens’s vision is to provide ethical, thorough, and high-quality care that empowers patients and supports their overall well-being.​​
Bert Perez - Podiatrist
Biomechanical / Cosmetic /Interventional Podiatrist
Bert Perez graduated with a Bachelor of Podiatry (Honours) from Central Queensland University. Since graduating, Bert has honed his skills in private practice, including his time at Wagga Podiatry, a regional leader in podiatry known for its expertise in complex and modern foot care. During his tenure there, Bert developed advanced knowledge and experience in innovative treatment techniques.

He is passionate about utilizing cutting-edge methods such as laser treatments for fungal nail infections, shockwave therapy for managing complex tendinopathy and tendinitis, and cosmetic podiatric interventions. Bert believes in a holistic approach to foot health, focusing on both the aesthetic and functional aspects of care to help patients feel confident and comfortable.

Bert’s early life included a strong background in sports and classical ballet, with achievements in competitive swimming, state-level water polo, and participation in international dance programs. This diverse athletic and artistic foundation informs his interest in biomechanics, rehabilitation, and pain management, allowing him to provide evidence-based, personalized care to each patient.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
Lisa Schnall - Podiatrist
High Risk and Primary Care Podiatrist
Lisa is a highly skilled podiatrist at The Brighton Foot Clinic, bringing extensive expertise and a passion for exceptional foot care to the community. She holds a Bachelor of Podiatry degree and a Certificate of Advancing Clinical Education from La Trobe University, as well as a Master of Public Health degree from Monash University. Her master's degree enabled her to travel and work overseas, and she has a special interest in communicable disease control, including contributing to the National COVID-19 Vaccination Program in 2021.
Lisa began her podiatry career at Austin Health in 2009, joining the Diabetes Complications and Assessment Service team to provide comprehensive diabetes assessments alongside specialists. Her broad experience spans community health organizations and private clinics, refining her ability to deliver personalized care.
At The Brighton Foot Clinic, Lisa focuses on complex diabetic foot screenings to ensure thorough assessments and tailored care for patients with diabetes. She has a special interest in geriatric foot care, addressing the unique needs of ageing patients. Her holistic approach encompasses nail care, corns, callouses, warts, and fungal infections, prioritizing health and comfort.
Committed to serving the community, Lisa also provides comprehensive home care podiatry, supporting elderly patients who face challenges visiting the clinic. Her dedication to enhancing mobility and well-being is a cornerstone of her practice.

Alex Rejda - Podiatrist

​With 9 years of clinical experience up her sleeve, Alex is sure to serve the Bayside community well! Alex enjoys all aspects of Podiatry with a special interest in Paediatric foot conditions and wound care in high risk patients.
Alex studied at Latrobe University and graduated in 2015, with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Masters of Podiatric Practice.
Alex has worked in private practice since graduating. Alex is active in continuing education and attends regular professional development events.
Hudson Trytell - Physiotherapist

Whether you're a young athlete looking to bounce back from an injury or a senior citizen seeking to enhance your physical well-being and independence, Hudson is the caring and knowledgeable professional you can rely on for your journey to improved health and mobility.
In addition to his interest and passion in sport physiotherapy, Hudson has also demonstrated his compassion and expertise in elderly rehabilitation. He strives to support his geriatric patients in their pursuit of improved mobility, pain relief, and overall quality of life. His patient-centered approach, combined with his extensive knowledge of physiotherapy techniques, empowers the elderly to regain independence and enjoy their golden years to the fullest.

Hudson completed his Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne, and has since dedicated himself to a varied patient case load. Hudson is currently the Head Physiotherapist for Black Rock Football and Netball Club, and has previous experience in basketball (NBL1), and competitive soccer. Hudson has a background in scientific research, completing his Honours degree in neuroscience and degenerative diseases.
He implements the skills utilised in his research experience to provide best care in-line with the latest publications.
